Why bloat the object with a static picture - the object will download the correct one when loaded.
onestar - this is designed to get images from a file so unless your webcam is saving the image locally or online then no.

Example: Have it go down a list of URL's and load each image every x seconds, but only pull image from server in the manner that you already have it do (every 30 seconds, 60 seconds etc.) That would truley ROCK!
My hat's off to you as this is about perfect for checking the morning commute but would LOVE to alternate between maybe 6-10 webcams sequentially along the route.
Thanks!

I like your webcam object, but the "v" and "X" buttons do not work unless I turn the object into a widget. What would be great is if the "v" button toggled the display on and off freeing up space on the desktop. I suppose that the best way to do this would be write a script that would change the opacity of the webcam object between 0 and 100. So the default would be 100% opacity and the first click would change it to 0 and the next back to 100%. Would you mind if I changed your object?
Thanks,
Mark
