Another great one. I have Outlook running all the time when "la machine" is up, so this one won't be on my desktop ( , but another great idea from the man. Thanks for all of your efforts to share these wonderful skins.

I am currently using GT3 Trash, CPU Meter and Clock widgets and the GT3 Mail object. However when the Mail object checks mail the CPU stays at 100%. I am running DesktopX 2.30.032, IconX 1.00a.001 with WinXP pro SR2.

Thanks for making this, Tiggz! I was able to get it to work with Mozilla Mail. It works fine for me except that after I retrieve my mail, the New Mail indicator just keeps on spinnin'. Anyone know what I need to do?

thanks all for the comments
ashymac - I use Thunderbird... right click the "@" glyph and select configure shortcut and browse to thunderbird.exe (make sure dx is in user mode) - I only set the shortcut to outlook express because nearly everyone has that installed
tealfan - dunno m8, I've not encountered that problem, once it polls your mail server after you've collected your mail it should set it's state back to "no new mail". I have only used the standard dx plugin and as such absolve myself of all responsibility if it doesn't work LOL
j3crue - what problem are you having when you try and download it?
ICE2500 -
Jrgen - I might get round to it some day

Figured out my problem. I just set the plugin to check my mail more often. Also, it doesn't help that I get lots of spam.

When I double-click on the @ symbol to open my email software (Mozilla) it opens 2 of them for some reason. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Tealfan : Check that you have not set the object to open on a single click.

TIGGZ: Brilliant. Any chance of a multiple accounts checker. I dont really want (although it does look beautiful!) lots of these objects on me screen.

Everyone else: If you want an email checker get this, it works!

Does this only work with POP3 accounts? I am currently use Outlook Express but am only using it to check hotmail accounts. I definately have new mail in there but the widget says I have no new mail. I even sent myself a message to test it and still cant get it to find any new mail. Looks great, keep up the good work.

when you download it, what is the filename? It should have the extension "dxpack". If it has the extension "zip" rename it and double click on it - it should auto install
