Lotherius - The under construction sign is meant to indicate that configuration is underway, and should only be there until config dialog is dismissed. The auto-hide feature seems to work fine for me. I'm not sure what could be wrong in your case. What version of DesktopX are you running?

I dont use outlook express, is there anyway I could change the email thing so it checks my yahoo email? Thanks!

The email checker only checks using the POP3 protocol, so the answer is yes, if your Yahoo account can be accessed that way. I believe it can, but I would contact Yahoo support for instructions on what server and username to use. Good luck.
