You're right, its hardly the most functional object in the world, with key features missing as you outlined, but to tell you the truth, I was originally only looking for an object that did literally exactly what the current one did, just played a movie and could be moved around the screen, so thats what i created. I hadn't really any intention of uploading it to WC, however, once i got into it and found that i had made a functional (using the word lightly in hindsight) object, the sheer excitement of seeing my name up there in lights with the skinning legends of WC got the better of me and i just uploaded it there and then...
So please forgive me for my selfishness

Anyway thanks again for the suggestions, ill get stuck into them and it will be a WIP for the next while and maybe ill have a much more functional object in the not so distant future...

Uploading for the first time is it's own reward. I can't wait to see where this all goes.

Things I woudl do:
Add a very tranparent gray-ish background object to act as a frame.
Add teh ability to drop a flash file on a target on the frame or a browse for a new swf instead of editing the script. (I believe there are some tutorials out there that describe how to do it.)
Your first object is much cooler than mine was.
