I haven't tried this yet (not on my home computer), but reading your blog and this it sounds really great. Thanks for the info. Hopefully we can see some sweet MSN objects/widgets/gadgets now.

Thanks. I've had this idea of an address book that incorporate MSN contacts. (Maybe make use of the Windows Contacts in Vista) that let you place contact on your desktop which you can easily bring up by using a hotkey. And you'd be different level of detail by shift+dragging or ctrl+dragging the contact object to scale it up and down. I'll see if I can sketch up some concepts and post them in the forum.

Was the textbox the only thing you saw? Did you try to Ctrl+Right click the textbox?
What version of DesktopX do you run?

And why did you reinstall? Just loading a new theme should be enough.

I was so pissed off. I wanted to remove the whole msn thing, but that text thing is so annoying, it wont go away. what the hell is it. good thing i found a way to get it off. the creater should have really made it so people can actually remove the whole thing, not just the msn thing and not the big ugly text thingy. hate it!!!!!!

What's so hard to remove?
If you want to get rid of the whole lot you just load new objects.

Are you saying the textbox doesn't go away when you load new objects?

The large textbox is there because this is just a scripting example. It provides debug output.

You mean the debugging textbox? This object was intended as a scripting example. Didn't think it had much usefulness to it other than that. However, it appears that people wants it as it is without the textbox. I'll get around to upload a new version.
