It works fine. Always has since "Digital Revenge". The "crashes" are on your end.

Langtran, read the instructions. You don't have to switch resolution each time you use it, just the FIRST time.

Totally Clueless, I'm guessing since it's a DesktopX theme, you'll need to have DesktopX downloaded and installed.

Great Work. Very, very nice. I like design and left-sided menu. The most advantage to my mind is ability to customize most elements. Other themes does not allow to do it simply by using something similar as you implemented and called 'Customizer'.

For future versions I believe some changes would be very useful. For instance I can see you have huge space between Date and Clock which is not occupied. Why not to put all opened windows there instead of displaying them in bottom line? Then several rows can be used as in Windows Taskbar. (I used to open more than 20 windows at the same time ). Then you may use freed space on the bottom for adding shortcuts [now there are only 4 of them - a kind of QuickLauncher] (As an Idea: you may still have 4 set by default and give user an ability to add as many as he desires).
And final: is it possible to put weed-day and month somewhere around clock? That whould be really nice...

All other thing are implemented perfectly. Thank you. Looking forward for improved version.

Kasamvel, Thank you for the suggestions. DesktopX as a program does not allow for multi-line taskbar style objects. Yet at least. It's just a limitation of the program. In my personal version of this theme, I use the open space as my Widget launcher, and that is intended for the next release. I like the idea of allowing for a user selectable # of quicklaunch objects. However, it makes it crowded at the lower resolutions. I like to make my themes resolution independent and at least useful from 1024x768 on up. (although how anyone can find a computer useful at that resolution defies logic... )

Hi - firstly - the theme is gorgeous! - for those that are having problems with the resolution, load in 1024, then change res, then SAVE the theme as a new .desktop file - that stopped things going wibbly on my laptop + desktop.
I can easily see this sticking on my systems for quite some time to come, and want two of the tabs dedicated to games for my LAN rig - unfortunately, the photoshop script from deviantart seems to be a dead link (as encountered by Mgamer) - Would there be any chance of it being reposted? I need to create icons for my stuff and don't want to ruin the themes fantastic looks!
Either that, or could you post a quick tut here or at dev.art on how to do them manually?

Chadamus, you're a god and I salute you!

The 4 short cuts on the bottom left. How do you change the text that shows up when you hover over the shortcut. Thanks.

Thank You! Chadumus....this is the DX Theme that has eluded me from being able to put together some layered desktops w great 2D graphic designs emphasizing font, photography & some 18th c etchings;found it on JoeJoe.org's download gallery for Vista customizations following my brilliant discovery on his site for the Vista Transformation Pack v.5.o1 by Windows X;the neutrality of the color values contrast coupled w the transparancies & ObjectDock style date/time band uniformly across the bottom of the screen in a bold scale is brilliance + all the other details make for the perfect accessory composing customized DX Themes w other desktop apps like SysMetrix & Yahoo! Widgets;bottom line; a valued DX app
