There is nothing to download to make MSAcpi_ThermalZoneTemperature work, its just a procedure call in windows.

Updated the C/F Font to plain old Tahoma.
There is a link above for the DigiFace Font
Added the Critical Trip Point into the Tool tip.

Great widget Roman however, I can't get it to switch from C to F. I double clicked it like the mouseover says but it won't switch. �

there is nothing to "enable" it reads information from the windows System, it may not work on every system. And it may not work on Vista, if its reading a value then its working.

Downloaded your widget; displays temperature fine in C degrees but clicking singly or double clicking will not yield Farenheit value....try diffrent combinations of clicks (single, double, triple) and cannot change C to F

Not working at all here. Tried clearing widget cache, re-downloading, restarting,reboot and set to run at atartup. All it does is sit there, with no thermometer showing, no left or right-click response. No trip-point tooltip. Only says 36.5, in green, and CPU Temp on top. What?

Wow, never had one of my comments dissappear before. Anyway, it works fine. Click once and wait to change from F to C. The gadget updates every 30 seconds. Nice work Roman.�

I've been waiting for this type of Widget anxiously. I've got an Intel D975XBX Motherboard, which was their flagship motherboard up to about a month ago. I'm getting the 117.5 reading, and it never changes. When I use Intel's Desktop Utilities, that program reports around 127 to 131 and it fluxuates pretty regularly. So Seldomseen, may also be getting a false reading. Does the widget defautl to 117.5 farenheit if I can't find the WMI hook?

Yep. Nothing changes... Maybe I'll cross-check with MotherboardMonitor, if I reinstall it. Have to see if my WIN XP PRO XP2 still has the Desktop Utilities system info. I may have scragged it since I built this thing in 2002 or thereabouts. My MB is an Intel 850D as I recall. Have to check this out. Thanks, NetBadger!

I don't see 20 c anywhere in NHC. I also can't get a reliable answer to which TZ zone in NHC is my CPU temp.
I've tried running an intensive CPU program and watch which one climbs to no avail.
So I'm wondering which is correct?

In my opinion, the best, small application (not Everest) is SpeedFan (free program). Why don't you try to link up with the guy who makes it and come up with a gadget with more indicators and that works without fail? I'm sorry to say this, but your gadget does not access the probes correctly. You have probably have designed the gadget too narrowly. (All of the other major programs that access the probes have no problem with my motherboard and system.)
