Hmmmm First time seeing this

Performance Meters
Warning: Unable to access performance counters while User Account Control is enabled.

Due to security precautions built into Windows Vista, certain performance meters may not be functional while U.A.C. is enabled.

Considering that I am using XP PRO It is safe to presume that I wouldn't have U.A.C. enabled.

It does work however, I wonder if it is possible to have the background of the meter itself to change color along with the rest of the widget.

Thats a new 'feature' of DX...I got it too when I first installed the latest update...1 for each widget I was running...oh man.(XP pro here too)They have been informed but a fix was never mentioned.

I wonder if it is possible to have the background of the meter itself to change color along with the rest of the widget.

Not sure what you mean but RomanDA scripted the balls to change color the further right they go.

Possibly my phrasing leaves something to be desired here.

NT...I just hope I can finish the dang thing...I had to stop working on it for a while...too much restrictive behavior from WB and Windows...but some re think and I'm back at it.

i just dont know.. even when i help it seems im doing something "strange"... LOL

The sliding balls change "hue" when they get closer to 100%, i dont know if how it would look if the whole thing changed.. BUT.. i think if the "tile" where the title/% text are would be a good idea to change. IR, i would need to split that TILE into a seperate object from the BG, im sure that wouldnt be too hard.

As for "others" there is one coming for drive % usage, and then whatever IR wants to have me help with.

Im out of town for 20+ days, but i do have some time at night, so ill see what i can do.

Ball color change is just right...dont really want the rest to change from what the WB looks like...however...It would be good if the blue only could be color shifted to match the color presets in the WB...which are still being worked on.
As it is DX only color shifts the entire widget...that makes the bars go all ugly.

Worst comes to worst...I might just make a matching color pack once I finalise the color presets for the WB...not too hard really.

The ball is the only thing i can change, based on how it is created. I think it would be possible to have multiple colors inside it, and the user select the base color for the widget, and still have it change color to red/etc when it gets closer to 100%.
