�richard, you are a genius. it works fine. all i need now is to make a note of the code and bingo all the widgets will work. now theres just one more thing...........on every meter widget i have tried the ram monitor don work.......everything else does cpu, c drive, battery etc etc, but ram allways reads 0% .........any ideas?�

How much do you have? Anything over 2 or 3 gb's I don't remember which it won't show..If you only have a couple of gb's then I don't know what to tell you, sorry. Maybe try this meter widget---> WWW Link This one has a scripted memory instead of just plugin by stardock..��

suprise suprise richard, that one works a treat. i actually have 4gb ram although my xp os only picks up 3gb. nice widget too, better than a lot i have seen. �� will remember your name and keep a look out for new stuff you post

To clear widget cache, click on Desktop X then click Load Widgets. From this screen, click on Clearness Time in the Loaded Widgets section if it appears, then click on Unload. Next, while on the same screen, choose Options, then choose Clear Widgets Cache. Now reload the widget and the hands should be there.
I love the ability to toss it around and make it bounce in corners! What a novel concept (for us that are obviously easily entertained).

To clear widget cache click on run widget (from welcome screen), then choose options, then choose clear widget cache, then reload widget and they should be there.
