Good job Jim.and to sViz for the script. 2 questions: may we use the script by sViz fo re-upload our weather widgets? And can someone kindly point me to where we can register with canadian zipcodes?

It works fine and registration went like a charm. I live in Montreal, Canada. That's what I enetered in place of zip code. It automatically set it to our main Intl Airport Code, ex CAXX0320 is the code for PET Airport, but it wouldn't show current temps. I had to set it to a smaller and closer private airport. SO Doubird, the key is to find Airport Codes. Every Airport has such a code, world wide, The widget works Number 1 Jum and I congratulate you and sViz on a job very well done.

Doubird, what skyzyk said should work. All script questions should be sent to sViz. She did the script, I can't give you permission to use her script. I think it was intended to be used by us, sort of a template, but I can't say for sure. You can find her widget and her statement for it here : WWW Link

RedneckDude. I have registered... I opened up your widget and I see every button and links, etc but not the weather. So I tried clicking on everything so I could put in my ID and key but nothing opens. Maybe I am doing something wrong or don't quite understand, so if someone would kindly give me a hand it would be appreciated.

Doubird, when you open the widget, you should see a popup window with registration info. If you registered already, click the window and it goes away. You should also see a window to put your info into. When you registered, you got an email with your PartnerID and Key in it. Use those numbers to put into the widget and it should work.

When I open it, there is no popup window. I have missing objects like the weather icons. I tried opening it with DxBuilder and I get a script error (line 6). I tried with the Summer widget from sviz and It does the same thing exactly.

Thanks to you and sViz and everyone else who decided to just "Get 'er done!" as Larry the Cable Guy would say. Thanks all!

OK. I'm also having the same problem as Doubird. From checking the objects after importing the widget into DesktopX Builder I have found that all the images have the following in the path: C:\Users\Jim Dillard\AppData\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme\ Removing the path and leaving just the name of the image in the states page of each object fixes the images for me. Hope this helps.

Redneckdude, with all the help from pjpowell, we still didn't get the widget to work. He told me he could probably work through the code with you. I'll send you his email. He'll be better at explaining things then I would.
