I was wondering though, if there is a way to get the temp, ect to update more often? It seems to update every hour or so.
I am just trying DestopX, but have loved it so far. I think I know the answer, but when I buy DesktopX, can I turn the LookingGlass Weather Suite-HQ Object into a widget?
Thanks

On line 12 of the script for the WeatherFrame sub-object, you will find the default setting for how often LookingGlass will update, and you can change that value to whatever you want. By default, LookingGlass retrieves the weather information every 20 minutes. However, you should be aware that Weather.Com, who provides the forecasts, usually only updates the data on an hourly basis. Even if you told LookingGlass to update every minute, usually 59 out of 60 of those updates would accomplish nothing other than using bandwidth.
And yes, all versions of LookingGlass run fine as a widget, which the full version of DX will allow you to make.

This didn't start until after I had used the minize (just the temp & sun/moon) feature. Prior to that the Moon was always within the frame.

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache
When I loaded the Widget again everything was back to normal. Not sure why it changed. Maybe the cache was corrupt. If that does not help then delete the "lookingglass.cfg" in:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX and setup it up again.

Is there any chance of adding an "Update Now" button to it, so that for ppl like me that arnt allways connected to the net can update when we actually connect to the net, rather than having to wait the 20 mins ??? , i hope u know what i mean
Keep up the Good Work!.....

Who reads the newspaper anymore? We have the Internet. Who listens to the weather report on the advertised clogged radio? We have the Internet. And now there is no longer any reason to tune in for the visuals of dopler radar on the evening news. We have this killer widget! Fantastic job.

Allthough I changed the temperature to Celcius (I am in Europe) the weather comments on the icons is still in Fahrenheit. Only the comments/forecast, the temp under the daily icons is Celsius again. Is there a way to change the Fahrenheit in the daily forecasts in Celsius?
Furthermore I would love the implementation of satellite images for Europe......
