Actually, this has a major flaw, in that you can only resize from the bottom right corner. If you have a high-res image, i.e. larger than your desktop size, the frame autosizes to the image's size, and you can't shrink it down since you can't get at the bottom right corner. Which is a deal breaker for me.

Paul, there is a lot of my code that you could use for this that will do things like stop the user resizing outside the window

I agree it needs to be able to be resized from any side. I'd also like to see a keep aspect ratio option (checkbox maybe) so that when you drag the sides it will keep it looking right.

One thing we could do for the HiRes images is force files that are too big to automatically srink to a reasonable size. Also, we'll try to implement a hold "Shift" option for toggling "Keep Aspect Ratio".

Is there a reason why settings are stored in the registry instead of in the widget itself? That really makes useing multiple instances difficult, as they all read (and write) the same registry setting and therefore want to display the same image.
On another topic: I am learning to program widgets and I was wondering why you clone the image object and display the clone instead of the image object itself. That seems strange to me. Doesn't that double the memory requirement because the image has to be hold in memory twice?

This works great as a way to display dual-head wallpapers when you have an ATI card that doesn't support span mode. Too bad widgets can't get locked to always on the bottom. Maybe they can and I just don't know about it.

Love this. It adds just what i needed to my desktop. I just have one question..... How can i add multiple images? Ive turned the widget into an object and can have 2 but i would like to have 3 like it shows in your picture. When i duplicate the object i cannot edit the 3rd one. I can only edit the parent image and the widget. Thanks and nice job.
