What might be reason, when I delete some files it takes a long time before recyclebin shows that there are something? Also when I empty trash,it takes about minute before recyclebin shows empty! So,it works but very slowly!

Skryme, to evaluate the contents of the recycle bin, this widget has to basically count them all up, see how many files are in there and how many folders, and add up the sizes. If you are like me, quite lazy, and let your recycle bin get quite bloated with many gigabytes of trash, then if it were to evaluate the contents every second it might mean a slight drain on your system resources. So, I set the object to refresh every minute or so...but...I also made it that if you interact with the object (eg if you mouseover it) then it will perform a refresh straight away. I was just trying to strike a reasonable balance.

TasT wonders, will Tiggz ever make anything I don't like?

Would you release a Object-Version of it?

you can do that yourself centrifuge - right click your dx system tray icon and select "import", then change to widgets and navigate to the widget you want to import into dx as an object

I love this and all your other widgets. I can't wait until you add in the color changing function available in some of the other widgets you've done. My desktop just doesn't look right when some widgets are blue and the others are green. Also, after you've redone this widget do you think its possible to make a program to have your computer boot up with a different color scheme to match a different wallpaper on each boot. It would be fun to have a completely different color on each boot but to have everything fit so well(as your gt3 suite does). Thanks for sharing all your hard work with those of us who just aren't that talented.

Really nice as always, but what do I dowith my 'Norton' refuse bin ? (cant normally/ easily delete). Drag n Drop to Widget gives sound n light but item does not disappear unless dropped into orig Bin ?

Widget records deleted files n folders OK (from rt click delete or dropped into Norton Bin)

Do I risk removing Norton Bin ??.

Thanks for a great looking Desktop Tiggz

Further to above...

Removing my (Norton) Bin using 'Tweak UI' does not rectify the drag n drop problem. But yr Wiget provides all other Norton Refuse/ Protected functionality and looks so much cooler .. so previous bin's been binned ! (and I dont have to hide it under the Wig !)

Any other thoughts on drag n drop though ?

I'm having the same drag'n'drop problem. I get the sounds and animations, but the dragged item doesn't move. This wasn't happening with the trial version of DesktopX, it appeared when I bought the full version.
Still, I've been using everything GT3 since Day One and will continue to do so.
Thanks again, Tiggz.

theres no color cycling, but to change the color you can keep it un-sunk and right-click the border for properties

Thanks this is great! My drag and drops works fine. Deleting an object on right click doesnt make a sound...but thats cool. I love it.
I can make my Nortons recycle bin back to a standard one by right clicking on it for those that commented on that problem.

How do I get rid of the default recycle bin icon on the desktop?
- and in fact all of the icons except yours?

cheers

Nice really like it
was wondering if anyone knew how i could change the little 'x'
from closeing the bin to
emptying the bin?
Would be great to have a one click empty, but I have no idea what the win32 app is, that I need to link the object to.
can you help Tiggz?
