Elegant Clock DesktopX Object -- compiled as a Widget. For this version, you need only to have DesktopX installed, not running. Lives in the system tray.
This is my first DesktopX Object.
This analog clock brings a feel of classical craftsmanship to your desktop, try it out!
UPDATE: As much as I would like to include a golden second hand, the limitations on the time rotation plugin won't allow it. Sure, I could code a bit of script to set the rotation based on counting by seconds, but it won't display the actual current seconds [would start at zero on load] nor would it update in a fluid motion. [when the minute or hour hand updates, the second hand will quickly flash back to zero and then back to the second it was on] Perhaps when the DesktopX time rotation plugin is updated to include a second hand function, I will add a golden second hand.
I did, however, add a half-sized version of the clock object to the zip. Although not as detailed as the large version, it should fit well on smaller resolutions. If you use a resolution of 1024x768 or higher, you'll probably want to use the large version unless you'd like to conserve desktop space. To those of you with 17" monitors running in 800x600, you might want to think about upping the resolution if you can, because 17" monitors were never really meant to run in such small resolutions, heh. Enjoy the update!
