Aye.. I Like. Developing quite a pile of Tiggz widgets ( among other Tiggz stuff) . Hued this one to fit a redo of the CopperDeck II stuff on my desktop ( where also still rests some Cabal widgets ..notably trash and meters ) Thinkin' ( dangerous ) ..is it posible to do one like this.. that folds up into a seamless pod hiding the center panel .. with a total mail count in the visble bar on the bottom .. opening again on call ( a click) to give the sep acct details? would be very useful for those checking multiple accts. Thnaks for more of "the good stuff"

Amazing. Simply amazing. I think I may have just found the first widget that will find permanent place on my desktop (yes, I am very fickle).

Thanks all for the nice comments

Rexbo - yes that is definitely possible - In fact I already made the graphic for the "pod" but unfortunately won't have to time to implement the upgrade for a little while. Not *too* long I hope. By then I am sure there will be some other suggestions of features for inclusion in an update Example: something I just thought of, I would quite like to be able to minimize it to the tray with the tooltip showing the total count, or even that and a breakdown of individual accounts. The right click tray icon menu could also have a couple of the menubar commands on it like "open email client" and "check for mail now"... but anyway, that is something for another day.

I am not a big fan of the skin of this widget but the widget itself is exactly what I was looking for in an email-checking widget. If only I was good at this stuff like Tiggz then I could create what I wanted! Long live Tiggz!

I agree with the other user about minimising the widget just to show the number of emails per account. Look forward to the update.

awesome work . . . now the million-dollar question: is OMNI the name of a new skin? . . . or is it just pertaining to these couple of widgets released today?

Thanks all

Beesley - well I have 2 more widgets in this style, the dual time/weather widget and a simple system volume controller. As far as any other skins, only time will tell...

Tiggz,

Really great and it works fine!

However, I really miss an email checker that displays a nice (not small) animation to show that there is a new email. The kind of animation that we can see even if we are far from the PC screen.

Maybe you could consider it!

Thnaks!

is there a way to shrink it into an icon like your GT3 Email. makes less clutter on the desktop. when you have multiple accounts, an icon animates and you can click it to expand into the full widget. also, is it possible to make it support http servers such as Hotmail?

Most awesome... I find that GT3/Omni/UniMetal mesh together nicely

Tiggz, I just wanted you to know that only my gmail addresses are registering my mail count. The one I have for my Outlook Express does not work. It is configed correctly. I have used other programs with my Outlook Express that worked, so I don't think it is that. You never know though. I do like the Omni progs. Can you advise? Thanks

Brilliant as ever, works very well. Just one smallish point; is it possible to change it so that the email address or name for the account shows in the list rather than the username? I have set it up with several email accounts I have and they all work perfectly, it's just difficult to work out which username is associated to what account, e.g. pt34590746-shop and pt34590746-enq for example are two of my accounts and it would be much better to show up as Brushlines Shop or Brushlines Enquiries.... just a suggestion

As ever, brilliant work, I always look out for your work and am always pleased by it!

Steve
