Looks awesome! The only issue I note at the moment is the fact that the image is turned 90 degree's clockwise in the zoom. Seems odd...looking at the code now. Thanks for pointin me in the right direction!

Hmm, I dont think its 100% accurate in its zooming, but techinically, it should work. Odd.

Hehe, yeah, wouldn't surprise me if the code is a bit screwed as I literally threw it together in 10 mins!

Very nice.. Looks interesting, it would be nice to have one that we could change the zoom factor, etc. But i will have to see how it works out.

The big problem in creating a magnifier is the difference in colour standards in DX. Getting the pixel colour of a coordinate is simple, but it returns a RGB value. This effectively means that you must use text objects to display the output. If there were a way to translate RGB to Hue, Brightness and Contrast then that would open all sorts of opportunities as you could then use regular DX objects that could be resized easily to reflect different zoom levels.
