I cannot seem to get this to work. I start the widget, it flashes briefly on the screen, then it just vanishes.
I have the current version of desktop X (not beta, released one)

I am running Desktop x 3.1 I cannot get Omni News to work either
I think it showed up first time I opened it but now it will not show
It appears in the systray but is invisible. I hit F10 nothing
I double clicked icon in the systray still nothing. Right click on the icon select show
Right click on the icon again It says hide. So it should be visible but is not
It would be by far the best RSS reader I have seen. If only I could see it
Any help would be gratly appreciated

Ok I downloaded it again and right clicked on the file and opened it with Desktop X and it worked. Sometimes my own stupidity amazes me.
Click on an aricle wait 5 seconds web page opens up Great.
Click close button nothing happens. Click scroll button I assume, nothing happens
Click icon in the systray right click show hide nothing happens.
That's why I had trouble, these menu items do not work. I'll still use it
