glowster - I will work on a 1024 version of this one, shouldn't be too long.

However, if you run DesktopX (in either client or builder mode) and import the bar, then Set Target works as expected. If you want, you can then export your bar as a widget after getting the shortcuts set up the way you want them. Sorry about that.

Obviously, this has been very well thought out and is one of the truely usefull widgets/objects for my personal way of working. Thank you so much!!

Is there any way to make the width variable? Unlike Glowster, I *AM* lucky enough to have a huge monitor that's running @ 1600 x 1200, but as you've already guessed, your excellent Top Bar only comes 3/4 the way across the screen. I like the consistency of having it run all the way across, though... it's pleasing to my brain, don't you know.
Thanks for the great widget, MountainDragon!

Chuckwrox - Importing the Top Bar into DesktopX builder mode will allow you to change the width parameter for the bar object. Then you can export back out to a widget if desired. See comment 5 above also, as you will also want to set your shortcuts.
Thanks to all for the positive comments.
