update version works ok for me now, slight loss of the left bracket of the word (less) at the end of the screen but im not complainin .... would be nice to be able to adjust the text size in the widget, or even be able to display custom text .....

hmm .. tested it for other cities ... text still gets lost on other side if it says anything more than 'sunny' ...

I am glad they are putting you to work! I was wondering when Stardock would make some of those wigets possible in DX instead of waiting for someone out there to do it.

Great looking Weather object and I know how to change the location but how do I find out what my zip code is for my location. I live in New Zealand

alpha-omega, just enter a town,country like Auckland, New Zealand and it should work. you may find that only larger locations work rather than small places. If you are still struggling, email me directly with your location and I'll see what I can find.

in fact : I can't get ANY widgets to work - getting the message that "desktopx isn't installed " every time . It isn't necesarry for desktopx to be RUNNING , is it ??

Rikkie - yes, for these widgets it is. You can be running the shareware version though.
