Which version of Outlook at you using?

I'm using DesktopX 2.19h and OutlookXP here.

Note that if you don't have any appointments on a given day nothing will be shown

Can't seem to get this to work. All it shows is the Test Appointment and it opens my last appointment instead of the next one. I am running Outlook 2003 and DesktopX 2.19k.

Thank you for this useful application. On my machine [Outlook XP and Windows XP Pro] the appointments display from latest (top of list) to earliest (bottom). A "sort" feature would be useful. Also, I would rather see the "all day" events displayed without indication of time (currently these show preceded by 0:00). All in all an excellent idea and well executed.

I really like this widget. It's very helpful for the absent-minded users out there (like me) who need constant reminders of appointments. One thing which may be problematic for some: I've noticed that the widget "checks" with Outlook every minute or so. When this occurs, some programs get interrupted or their windows get minimized. An example: playing World of Warcraft which minimizes everytime this widget synchs with Outlook. This is more of a pain than, say, when one uses Office or Firefox as the screen resolution must adjust when WOW is minimized, and when I maximize it again. In short, it takes alot of time. So, when playing online games (and perhaps even your garden variety game) be sure to close this widget.

Yes, it steals focus everytime it checks outlook, every few minutes or so. I can see a task flash on my object dock taskbar for a split second and my screens, browser, all flash momentarily. Is there some way to make this "check" happen as a background, non focus stealing task? Great otherwise. Very classy widget.
