Finally you uploaded this. I have been using this for a few weeks. Its one of my favourites ...although, I'm wondering why it says its 2 mb's for d/load when its only 1.6 mb's. Unless they round off to next nearest number...I like the Calendar option you added to it...I really love the cradle stand ..looks good blue too..

I love the animation...

Using it right now. Wonderful program.
A suggestion, perhaps you might make one with a map of the "old world". Just a thought

Great job!

I second the earlier comment asking for a spinning antique globe (a spinning crystal globe would look great also). I'm new to this, but I suspect the chief difficulty would be to get photos of the individual frames for new animated globes.

One newbie question: If I wanted to reduce the size of the overall object, do I need to reduce each element, or are they all grouped together in some way that would allow me to reduce them all at once?

Thanks for any help you can provide, and again. great job!

Hi John, Thanks for comments. Unfortunately you have to reduce the size of each element. Isnt too difficult to do in DX builder, just use the width, height in object navigator for each element. You may have to re-position elements after resizing.

Great widget! Perfect in almost every way. Wished it was about 2/3 its size though so there would be more room on my desktop for some of your other great widgets. The Old World idea kind of sparks my fancy also. That would be cool. Nevertheless, great work. love the widget.

Going back to the antique map globe idea...wouldn't it be great if one of the many computer artists working in DesktopX would take a scanned antique map and in one of their 3-D Animation programs wrap that imaage around a sphere, and the slowly rotate the sphene and save .jpgs that could be used in an animation? If this seems like it might be possible, where do you think would be the best place on WinCustomize to post such a request?

That would be cool to be able to choose between moon, sun, earth, maybe even Saturn?

Would be nice if there were hands though. Not going to reinstall a perfectly working DesktopX to try to get them.
