Hey Woodbridge not that I don't like the attention
But wrong neksus, he spells it "nexus" me I use "neksus",
I did not make the AlbumArtAggregator.exe.

Just realised that you can't access the script to use for your own widgets because I exported this out as a Gadget. I'll upload a normal .dxpack later so people can see the script.

I guess I didn't install correctly? Already have .net stuff. Installed AAA. Installed widget and used preferences window to show the way to AAA and album art saving folder. Loaded winamp. Played 4 songs by popular bands (.wma files). Got a ZoneAlarm message showing that AAA wanted out and I let it have unfettered access. All I get is "No Album Cover". What did I miss?

Thanks.

Woodbridge, you could either export as a dxpack or a widget and we could see the script. Gadget is the only one that doesnt let you import it. Plus, I think the functionality would be exactly the same as a widget as it is now, so thats a bonus.

Werewolf - Does the AAA work on its own if you run it? Do all 4 lines show up in the gadget or do some of them show up as "---"

CerebroJD - Updated to included a widget version so you can see the script

Woodbridge: Really sorry I haven't been back here for so long... Yes, AAA works as a stand alone.

The widget has, currently, Nickelback - Curb on the first line, the next 2 lines are '...' and the last line is 0.

I even used AAA standalone to get the album cover for that album.

Thats why its not working the widget uses the artist from the second line and the album title from the 3rd line, and send that info to AAA. But WinAMP must only show that information in the title line so all AAA is getting is --- ---

I'll have a look to see what can be done about that.

I think thats a bug. The version I've got isn't using AAA and I've made some changes, its not ready for release yet but I'll make a note to to see if I can fix that.

It be nice to have this widget get theartwork from iTunes. For those who use iTunes anyways.
Other than that cool widget.
