Big Thanks, Jerry! I have found it!!!!! LaunchBar scripts are very complex and consist of a thousands lines. As a result my eyes don't see all bugs. So I have forgotten to change "rename" command in English version...
Certain that together we will force this thing to work OK beyond all doubt.
Wait a several minutes for update please.

Journeymen A handful of "super-citizens" will be at this class. These are people who are significant contributors to the community. They can do everything an Apprentice can do but also rate the skins. The honorific "Sir" or "Lady" is appended to the front of their na If you're a journeyman, then you are one biggest contributors to WinCustomize.com. The difference between a Journeyman and an Apprentice is that a Journeyman is contributing significantly to WinCustomize in particular as well as the skinning community in general. A Journeymen's skin is automatically made available upon uploading. It does not have to go through moderation first. As a result, only the most trusted users will become Journeymen because of this power. They will also eventually have access to a special council discussion area where concerns, problems and other concerns of the skinning community can be addressed. |

Hm... Honestly I have not understood hitherto what means all of these levels, for what they need and who assigns their. May be it's necessary to have a GREEN CARD for this? (little joke)
So this is don't care for me what "honorific" will be appended to the front of my name. It is much important if widgets and gadgets which I have done will work without serious errors. A single what I wanted after reading of given text fragment: "skin is automatically made available upon uploading" . This is really, really COOL!
Why? Because the Wincustomize administrators begun to work so slowly in recently that I have time to make the several updates or some novelty while they make available the running version of widget. As a result people will be able to download it not earlier than after 1,5 - 2 weeks. This problem is much distress me and very obstructs my work.
Some words about LaunchBar. This is not a final version because it works not more than of 80% from which can do my Russian Interface... The next version will come much quickly when I'll finish SD Weather.
P.S. Apropos I am Apprentice already (thanks Jafo) so you can congratulate me. So I try to justify this high confidence which rendered for me.

Drag and Drop files onto sections to add them automatically |

Drag and Drop function? I will do this without fall. For files, programs, folders etc... This is very simply but I did not think that given option can be necessary for whomever.
E-mail checker? When I'll find the reliable way to read and add all e-mail accounts to the widget automatically (without our direct participation), I'll make this. I have the several interesting ideas about this.
Best Wishes.

I have also had the problem of once its been loaded and run, and i reboot, it loads but i cant find it on the bottom of the screen. One issue is i run a laptop in multiple locations, docking station (1600x1400), home (1400x1200) etc..
I agree with the idea of the drag-drop, would make it a lot faster and easier.
Also.. some ideas.
1. Clock on the bar somewhere/maybe with a button you could click to slide out a calendar.
2. system tray area that shows whats running in the tray
3. maybe a area to show whats loaded and running (like the task bar)
4. ability to "resize" the slide out areas width and posibly the buttons themselves.
Im sure there are more things, this is REALLY great. I love how you made the shortcuts work, its really a great thing.
You have an amazing ability with DX... can you download your brain to me please?????

Your ideas and offers are very useful and interesting. I'll try to add all of their to the next version of LaunchBar.
You want to download my brian? No problems. How I can help you?

Also maybe like objectdock, a folder that expands so you could have sub-folders in a tab. I ran out of space in one of my docks, i was wondering about a folder that expands so i could group things, like wincustomize websites instead of a whole dock being took up by them. I made an example at this
. hope that explains more.
Also like object dock, drag and drop files or folders. I understand this would be hard so just an idea.
Just a few cool ideas i though of today!

1. The "restart" tab does not work under the "System Control tab"
2. I sometimes get errors that say the shortcuts are invalid when I click anywhere in the launchbar.
3. If I freeze the panes, do I have to then resize programs such as Excel & Word? The panes block the "X" exit tab on the right hand of the application when the launchbar is docked on top of the desktop.
4. Can the main tabs be moved as far as the order is concerned? I am referring to the tabs such as "System Control" and "System Utilities"; not the programs within the tabs.
Thanks in advance. I would love to continue to use this program if I can get some of these minor issues ironed out.
Best regards,

Please reference comment #36. It has been six days since I posted these questions without a response. If you want people to use your widget, which I still think is an excellent creation and one of the best ones I have seen, then have the common courtesy to reply so I may use it properly. That is called basic sales and marketing 101.

I am very sorry but sometimes I have no a possibility to read a messages here. Regrettably I have a main job which I must concern with. And this job not bound with my DesktopX experiments...
The LaunchBar was remaked from some part of my User Interface which I use on a computer with Russian Windows XP. The problem is that some functions on English Windows may not work correctly. I have solved a lot of such bugs and nearly 100% of gadget functions are work without serious errors at the present.
Herewith this is not a commercial project. So I am ready to acknowledge that some little bugs may remains inwardly the scripts. But this bugs don't disturb to use the LaunchBar.
Abuot your questions:
1. To open Shutdown dialog as well as to execute the "Log Off" and "Restart" commands I have used standard Windows API(s). So I have no any ideas why this commands doesn't work in your system...
2. The LaunchBar reports about "shortcut" errors only when it can't find the path to application which corresponds with given shortcut. So if you see this message this means that shortcut was not created correctly.
3. I use the "freeze" function only when I want edit the Sections content. In other cases this function is "disable" on my computer.
4. The sections can't be moved yet. But they can be renamed and used for any another options (with the exclusion of "System Control" section).
Excuse me again for a delay with this answer.
Best Regards.

The shortcut issue I described occurs not when I try to launch an application which I have dragged and dropped onto the appropriate section, but in between sections when I click my mouse.
Once again, this is a wonderful creation. Once I am able to fully understand the working functions, I am going to add the rest of your widgets to my desktop and show them off to my co workers as well as direct them to your creations. You deserve a ton of credit in the time and effort you put into designing this. I have not seen anyone else even come close. Other creators seem to be limited to building weather or e-mail related widgets.
Best regards.
