Raised on the Atlantic, living way too far away from it... thanks for the memories!

This dream could be a lot nicer if the dream was say 10 to 12 seconds in length, the one second loop on my system is too short and it staggers when it loops. Any chance of adding in a few seconds more in the loop? Red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors take warning! I too am on the East coast, about 400 meters from a warf right behind our house. )

I've tried this on 3 systems and it runs smooth as silk. If you see a hiccup or hesitation when it loops you may have a codec issue. I've been thru this with Nero and it's not too hard to fix. In the Nero case, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled just the core program, without any codecs.

If you have other codec issues the following link may help you sort it out. There are a couple codec managers listed that may be useful. They will help you see what codecs are installed and help you turn them off.

Stardock's Codec Page

Since my dreams are created from mpeg files, you should look at your mpeg2 codecs for an incompatibility problem. Do you have DVD software loaded other than what came with windows? If so, is it Vista compatable?

I checked out the Vista site and did some reading, but as far as the codecs are concerned I do have the latest codecs installed and I have the SP1 service pack installed. Most of the dreams I have work quite well, I've just downloaded the Palm Trees and it runs properly. I know better then to mess with my codec packs becuase of other issues I've had in the past. I am a MCP (microsoft certified professional) and A+ Certified computer tech so I do know a little bit about computers and their differences. I am running a P4 Dual Core 4800 with 2 Gigs of ram, and a Radeon X1300/X1550 256 megs of ram onboar with a share of an extra 767 megs of ram borrowed with dual monitors - a 19" regular LCD and a 20" wide screen to the side, I am also running Vista Ultimate. Most dreams run quite well, but this one and one other one you created a week or 2 ago with just one wave in it will not run properly... It's not that big of a deal because I do have about 3 gigis or more of Dreams anyway. For the record 99% of your dreams run quite well and in most cases are some of the best ).

Runs smooth on my system. You've outdone yourself yet again, CarGuy1.
