GT5 CGI footage collected to create a lovely dream to show off the Deskscape software to friends and family alike.
The source video is HD720p but it runs fine on my laptop wihtout chewing up resources. I am using a Dual-Celeron 2.0GHz with a low power on board graphics card.
Copyright of the video is owned by Sony Computer Entertainment. Under the Fair Usage policy the company are happy for others to use the footage as it acts as further promotion of the upcoming super title.

GT5 is regarded as the "Pinnacle" of driving simulators across both the entertainment, research and education industries. With the GT franchise selling over 55 Million individual copies since it's debut in 1995 it is the best selling Driving Simulator of all time.
With over 1,000 cars at your disposal, cutting edge 12 point sound capture for each model, individual car interiors for each model, damage control, realistic physics ability, inner city racing such as London, Milan and Tokyo, plus actual racing tracks like both the Formula 1 3km and full 12km Nurburing in Germany and the old collection of GT fictional tracks... this version of the series is set to be the defining game/simulator of it's genre.
From Ferrari to Renault, Lamborghini to Vauxhall/Opel, Bughatti to Ford... you can drive the car of your dreams or the car that is on your drive. You even have the chance to test your own time on the famous Top Gear Test Track, where you go head to head against "The Stig" who holds the lap record in real life in the car that you choose. Taking on the man himself in a virtual table that millions of people will contest.
For the first time the GT franchise will incorporate the official World Rally Championship cars, NASCAR cars, a selection of Formula 1 cars and Indy Racing Cars in addition to mainstay of official GT Racing cars and production models we see all day on the road.
Outputted in super clear 1080p Full HD, with 7.1 HD Surround Sound (for people with compatible devices) Gran Turismo 5 is looking to be the beast of not only the Racing Genre or Simulator Genre... but the gaming industry itself. With a budget of over $60M so far, and Sony's pledge to have no budget limit the gaming industry is gearing for something special.
So throw on your flame proof suit, connect your helmet to the restraints and start the ignition ladies and gentlemen. The question of who's the best driver is truly upon us.
