For me, though, Firefox is designed for people who have different habits and different needs from myself. I have no use for the toolbar, but you can't delete those half-dozen icons and put your own links in. That's just the beginning.
The bottom line is that I'm not a consumer, but an artist and a creator: Firefox is designed for the consumer, pure and simple.
This is why I use Mozilla, as buggy as it tends to be at times.
Unfortunately, hardly anybody makes Mozilla icons. They all make Firefox icons, if they make anything for the Mozilla group. I have a grand total of two Mozilla icons that are worth a rat (neither of which are the icon that comes with Mozilla, which is a 256-color 32x32 show of pure ugliness). In fact, the only Mozilla icons I have are the two that I made myself. I've seen two or three others, but none of them come close to meeting my standards, and thus would stand out on my desktop just as glaringly as the default Mozilla icon does, if not worse.
What I'm saying is that we need at least a half-dozen Mozilla icons that are high-quality enough to where we might feel we have a choice.
Anyways, take that for whatever it's worth, from one of your biggest fans.
And take care!

oh and p.s. only one thunderbird icon? that could use a little work too, not that the one you made is bad or anything...
