Greetings to you from Ottawa. . . I downloaded these awesome icons this morning, and then visited your page to see what other creations you might have made. I pulled up your desktop to have a closer look at your wallpaper---and I thought I was looking at my back yard. The snow-captured scene is breathtaking. Three weeks ago, our city looked nice and clean as in your picture; but after three weeks with little to no snow, everything now looks quite dirty and dingy. Hopefully, by next week, we will get more of the fluffy white stuff to make everything look crystal clean once again. The month of February is when we normally get all the blizzards in my neck of the woods. While I do love the snow, I do get tired of it when it has reached the height of being over my head. All our driveways and walkways look more like tunnels; and, of course, by that time, our two-lane road in front of our homes has dwindled to a half lane. It makes getting around and seeing over top of the tunnels a bit challenging for the next month of two. We Canucks don't plan on seeing the color of grass until the end of May. As I'm originally from the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia, not being able to see the spring flowers until Memorial Day is a bit disappointing. On two occasions since my arrival here in Ottawa in 1994, I've seen as much as eight inches of snow falling on Mother's Day. That's when I've seen enough snow to last me for quite a while. I sincerely hope you will continue to make more icons, as well as create a window blind. I've been a member of Stardocks and Wincustomize for a year; and I've become addicted to it the past several months. Of course, I do not have the knowledge or the health to create any of these breathtaking enhancements for our computer monitors. Since 1991, I've had severe Fibromyalgia and chronic Rhumatoid Arthritis, as well as Restless Leg Syndrome. These diseases have progressed so far today that I'm barely able to walk. Since the computer is my world, even playing on it these days causes me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I now have to use both hands to click my mouse on items; but I'm bound and determined not to give up on my link to the outside world just yet. Do you have any plans to make these icons into a smaller version any time in the future? They are quite nice and very colorful; and would also look great in a smaller size. Please do keep up your God-given creative talent. It's the one great gift you can give to the world to help make it more beautiful for all of us in cyberspace. In the meantime, I wish for you and your family many days filled with lots of sunshine, happiness, and good health. Luv ya! Sweet Caroline
