Yes, it is. The aliens made contact with us on it. That's why I wanted to go there in the first place.
What I didn't know until I visited there is that parts of Kevin Costner's Dances With Wolves was filmed close by also.

That's fantastic! I wouldn't mind checking it out for myself as well. The Tower looks absolutely majestic from all the photographs I've seen of it but I could imagine how awe inspiring it would be to see it up close and in person!

It's really interesting. The acoustics alone are unique; you might not be able to hear the person next to you, but you can hear someone a quarter mile away who's whispering. Literally.
I spent five hours there and wasn't bored a bit. Weather changed constantly giving me a great range of photos. And it's not "touristy" at all.
