Hi,
when you open this website at the top of the window on the right side, you have two links in the Library Description:
one of them says Download.
Go there, download the software -- it's free and harmless to your XP system.
After, downloading, restart your PC, and make sure you double-click the file you have downloaded. In this case "President's Seal 1024," or if your screen resolution is 1280, then double-click on "President's Seal 1280".
That's it. The same thing applies to Bootskins. Always the software (if needed) is on top of the particular gallery's description.
Enjoy!

Awesome Logon!
Question though.. how come i never get the option to click on my name on the boot screens? It shows when i download it but when i reboot it automatically goes from logon screen to desktop.. never prompts me to click my name. I checked my settings but dont know what i should set it as.

oh and what is the diff btwn a boot skin and a logon skin?

BootSkin is the first thing you see when your computer loads, and it usually consists of 640x480 bmp and a progress bar.
Logon is a welcome screen that lets you choose any of your accounts. The reason you don't have the option to choose your account or any other may be because of your settings. You should go to "Control Panel," then "User Accounts" and then click on "Change the way users log on or off". Choose the option that suit your needs.
If that didn't help or didn't apply to your situation, then I recommend the download and installation of TweakUI utility from Microsoft. - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Then open it, select LOGON and check any account you'd like to see when your computer loads the logon screen.

BTW i checked the logon part of the tweak you sent me the link for. It IS set to show my name on startup but it is not
I'm gonna reboot and try one more time.

edit: ok i rebooted. same thing.. it shows the screen but goes to desktop before i click on a name. Actually it doesnt show my name at all altho my pc is set to do that.
I dont want to set a password as my bf uses this computer too. So what can i do? Check email

if you don't set a password it will never show the logon screen because without a password it skips the logon screen step since there is no need for one.
