Not a bad start. A couple things; the gradients on the top and bottom panel and user account background are not very smooth. The Enter Pass-Code text on password protected account is too big it runs into user name. Also you should for buttons and user account background stick with the default sizes. Not sure what res you use or made this at but image is 1588 and top and bottom are 1535, again use same size. What paint software did you use, if you need good free app google Gimp.

Thanks for the feed back and useful links.
Used Paint and live pix for most of the effects plus some photos tweaked to suit.
I'll have another go and see what results!!!
