Do you have permission to use this wallpaper in a logon? I don't see one in the folder. Rules should be for everyone. |
Rules DO apply to everyone. If you check my Liquid-vista DesktopX theme, you can read it for yourself.
Alternatively, if you supply me with your email I would be glad to send it to you.

It should be in the logon for people that don't use your DX theme. |
It is now, and as you can see, he very kindly allowed me to use it for anything I wish.

Uhhh...Errrrr...Hmmmm... That is the rule as I understand it... but perhaps the rule is only for the "peasants" and not for "Royalty"..LMAO
I suppose, that if the rule applies to *Everyone* including a "black sheep" like me... Then I could simply use this permission as a standing permission, I would not have to include it in *Every Logon I create using this photographers work..Would I??

It appears from these comments that people get 'ticked off' when they are requested to do something which they had overlooked.
Source your images appropriately.
Check copyright limitations FROM YOUR SOURCE.
If prohibited contact original author.
Include permission/s in each and every subsequent release.
Blanket permissions are problematic and so NEED to stipulate what uses are permitted.
Currently this work fails download...so cannot be verified as to whether it had or now has permission included, but I'm sure Gef has or will have included it, just as everyone else does once it's brought to their attention...

Rules are Rules, we all must "play" by them, right?
I will be sure to have what I need in my files from now on...
I was just a bit confused on the "Source/Author" issue
But you've cleared that up very well!
Honestly, the only thing that I found disturbing is the implication that I take Copyrights for granted, I like to think that I have a bit more respect for them than that..
Im sure you have seen the pages at the source yourself, you must be able to understand how the mistake could be made.
At anyrate..Lesson learned,
Hopefully there will be no more issues regarding this "course".

It would appear that when I re-uploaded with the permission included, which I freely admit I forgot to include, that somehow the file ended up missing. This is now fixed.
I am not perfect - I do make mistakes like everyone else.

LoL..The gods know I make *More than my fair share Gef... We all make them..
It actually was probably nothing you did, the site still isnt a 100% and the file was probably just lost in the mix.
Thanx...
