I reckon I should have mentioned in the description, you CANT edit this logon with Logonstudio. You must edit the UIFile with notepad.

I expect there will be someone who can do THAT. |
We shall see.

Probably still too much effort for some. |
I am a lazy, old dog, it's the middle of winter, my heat works, there's food and a sofa and I've got a serious case of the ____its...
Boss, hang in there. I just get used to a logon, if it works slick, I only see it when I boot, once a day, and so don't change it..is there a logon-changer?

[edit:{Stardate01.26.07-13:20MST-Sol III.northern hemisphere} =-> >-tried renaming .logon to .zip and unzipped it **BLAMMO!!* there was the .txt file, slicker'n ___ anything.]

Uh,Logonstudio, free from Stardock. You use it to apply these files.

Once applied, you can navigate to the folder for this logon and edit the UIFile to change text colors, element sizes and positions...the rest is just image replacement .
The other text file just tells Logonstudio what the name is and who the author is.(thats where it becomes yours)
I see I made at least 2 mistakes here...1,assuming that people would understand what I have tried to do(make it easy to do a resolution independant, splash style logon)and...
2,that there would be a need or desire for such a thing.
