I need some help this logon ruined my cpu (
I can't see my folders on desktop and I can't see my stat menu

Alexander check your desktop. Right click on the desktop screen. A box will popup. hover your mouse over "arrange icons" a smaller box will appear. Move the mouse down to "Show desktop icons" and make sure that is CHECKED! That being checked should put your icons back on your desktop. This logon has been tested and will not remove your icons. Also Right click AGAIN on your descktop go to Properties. The new box says Display Properties. Now go to Desktop and click. Down at the bottom you will see Customize Sesktop... Click that. Uncheck the box that says run destop cleanup wizard every 60 days That function if it is checked will remove all your icons from your desktop EVERY 60 days! It happened to me before. I thought something else did it but this is enabled by DEFAULT. Sorry for your problems but logons will not diable your start menu or remove your icons, that's a settings problem with your computer. I've NEVER had a logon diable my desktop or start menu! If you are still having problems Clean your registry and run a full virus scan to locate any other problems with your computer. The desktop wizard will remove all your icons, I never use it so disable it! By the way If your cpu is ruined and you can't get to the start menu HOW did you get on the internet to post this comment!? �

To everyone else, this logon WORKS! Always check your default settings and enable or disable functions that you know create problems. Especially after a reformat as these default settings are reenabled and you will have the same problems! Desktop Cleanup Wizard is an unnecessary function in Windows and should always be disabled. You can cleanup your desktop yourself by using Align to Grid by right clicking the desktop and selecting it in the box that appears.
