Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!! I love objectbar, and think it's one of the best GUI skinners out there, and this is a great addition to the Rubicon theme. I couldn't ask for more.

Thx Sapphire

I love objectbar too, my gui wouldn't be complete without it, I find the launchbar in particular absolutely indispensible. When I was making this, it was on my desktop under construction, devoid of shortcuts, I felt hampered having to use the normal methods of program launching.

Hi Tiggz. I really like this bar design, but I have a problem. I've tried to launch it twice now and both times it locked up my 'puter so tight that ctrl-alt-del wouldn't even bring up Task Manager. I haven't used OB very much at all since getting OD almost 2 years ago, so I can't say if my problem is related to this theme or to some other conflict in my particular system. Anyway, I thought the work on this Bar was so good that I had to try it. Still awesome work, I just can't use it. (

elvee - thx, I think I am some kind of obsessive compulsive, I just can't seem to leave it at 1 skin, I have to make a herd of the pesky critters

BluesStringer - I have saved and reloaded this theme on numerous occasions whilst testing, as have some of my dilligent research elves, and have encountered no problems. Have you got the latest version of objectbar? There is nothing included in the theme that should be troublesome, no weird plug-ins or anything like that...
I would suggest uninstalling objectbar and reinstalling the latest version - hope you get it working

Excellent work! Smooth graphics, and it's nice to see someone expressing creatively through ObjectBar (OB's been lacking this level of sophisticated uploads for a while).

Thankyou mrbiotech I think objectbar is undervalued by skinners and users alike.

Hey Tiggz, I got my problems worked out. Still don't know what happened, except that when I d/l'ed this at first, I clicked on the file to open OB instead of launching OB and loading the theme from the program. Even after un and re-installing, the theme locked up until I clicked on an almost blank theme. Then I could load this one no problem. Weird, but thanks for the advice. Sorry for the long comments. Take care.

Must have just been one of those quirky things that happen from time to time I guess - glad you got it working ok in the end, hope you find it handy

I love this theme but I have a problem. The font is extremely small and us older folk need something bigger. Can you tell me how to increase the font size?

Hi leveck, yes I know what you mean. As I was finishing up the theme, I tried it at a variety of different resolutions and noticed that at higher resolutions the font was indeed quite tiny, but at the lower resolutions, the font is perhaps quite chunky - so I went for a happy medium. Unfortunately I don't think there is an easy way to alter the font sizes apart from actually editting the skins themselves, either in notepad or skinstudio.
What I might do however is to update this theme with a series of substyles for each skin with larger fonts suitable for higher resolutions or more mature eyes.

I have a problem:
When I try to launch this theme, it says:
Pack was extracted and moved...but the Theme Definition file (.obtheme) was not found within theme package! Package was extracted but not loaded.
reloading old theme...
need help...

jyrder - one workaround for any installation problems is to load the thme from within object bar itself not by clicking directly on the pack. Open ob config, click on the file menu, load, load new theme - the theme browser will open. Then you can browse for the obpack.
Another way to do it is to rename the Rubicon.obpack file to Rubicon.zip and extract it to your objectbar themes directory.
Sorry it won't load for you, I can't say why it's being troublesome, it works ok for me.
