Love them - but how can I remove the recycle bin on my WindowsXP desktop? Otherwise there is no reason to have a recycle bin on my dock.

Samsami, if you download Tweak XP, it will allow you to get rid of your recycle bin from the desktop

If you are still intersted there is an easier way to do you, you just have to edit your registry. All you have to do is delete one key, right click your desktop and hit refresh, and poof its gone. Ill put the directions to it below:
First find this lovation:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
Then go to this Key (instead of just deleting it, i suggest exporting it first, incase you ever want the icon back):
{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
Then right click and hit refresh on your desktop and it should be gone...
I find it easier to do it this way, instead of adding more software to clutter up my machine...

If you have the Windows XP Pro, you can use Start->Run... and type "gpedit.msc", which allows you to take out the recycle bin from your desktop.
On gpedit, choose "User configuration"->"Administrative tools"
