Many thanks B2R ! ... actually the nightly dock has a 3 textures mixing, I also applied some transparency to the dock bottom, naturally some gradients and 2 more layers for the Spider-Man image ...
wonderful Holidays also for you !

Shouldn't the reflection be on the tile, rather than to hang off into the air below it? Just sayin...

really welcome RedneckDude !
I think that the reflected spidernet tile design is just a little bit hard to be noticed in this preview, here is another preview (with my new icons) https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/17001/ !
... the reflective tiles are part of my new concept for OD 2.O 11 as before there were no reflections at all for the tiles. I already made "Reflective Tiles OSX https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/16916/ and "Blades Tiles" https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/16928/ and "Hot Spot Tiles" https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/16966/ basically it's what I called "dockrama" (tiles + background in the same skin) and the trick is: the background is tranparent !! yeah playing with the .ini file I can set the reflections in or out the tiles but just like the other " background reflection " new idea, the tile reflection is all in one with the default OD 2.0 icon reflection !! Hope you like it ...
oops I forgot to mention, as also part of the concept OD 2.0 11, "the icons reflections at top position" and I like to recall that this idea is on behalf with B2R !

Hi frankell, I find the reflection on tiles very good...

Many thanks for the feedback B2R, I really appreciate it !
Probably I pretended too much from the "true stretch" code as the very detailed docks textures with a lot of icons and the spider-man image at great resolutions are quite buggy, sorry for the large monitors owners I will update an "extreme not" edition without textures and image and I will create dedicated icons to have spider-man on the dock !

It is with pleasure that I give the result of my tests frankell... I am persuaded that Spider-man can carry icons!

It looks like the top of the dock is reflecting, basically, below the dock. That isn't possible and doesn't look right. Also, what you call "dockrama" and take credit for "creating" was really done long ago by two different individuals. The first that I know of to do it was messiah1 and then someone made a set of docks called Old Republic (not messiah1's) that used this effect for a slightly different purpose. All of messiah1's docks since then have used it and I myself, having been taught by him use it. It's great for positioning icons where you want them to display on the dock. It can be used for many purposes, like you are trying to do.
I admire that you are trying new things and effects. I think you should work on your graphics skills a bit and maybe do some research on how things reflect off of surfaces. Reflections for OD are a great improvement, but they still aren't completely correct. If it doesn't look right, it shouldn't be used. Please understand I'm trying to be constructive and not a dick.

you are really welcome natas2 !!
did you noticed that the default icons reflections are FLAT ? moreover they seems to me more natural "below the dock" (all in one with the background reflection) than on a perpective declined tray ! aw just imagine Spider-Man on top of the roof and the reflections on the last floor of the building !
not really "creating" just "called" as I already said on commenting my "FIRE Dockrama" (2 years ago: Jan 06 2009 !) https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/15202/ : << ... a short history of the Tiles on Background idea: my first was "StandAlone" (Light-On) on February 2008................ AW "gallering" around I found that it was already done by Hypknotic with "SunriseDock" (on 2005 http://hypknotic.deviantart.com/art/Sunrise-Background-20953691) and by the great messiah1 with "DualZoomerDock-001" (on 2006 http://messiah1.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=10921&libid=29) .... ++ by Cavan1 with "TransBrass" (on 7 of February 2008 https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=13897&libid=29) - >> aw I really don't think you can assimilate the "reflective tile" idea to one of the "many purposes" as the transparent background is my very original trick !
many thanks for your advices, just hoping that you and the OD developers will be inspired (as already other skinners were) by the "concept reflective" idea for the OD users benefit and fun !
