fankell can you teach me how did you change the stacked icons appearance i mean the fan stack on the left has the label first before the icon and on the right fan it's the icon first berfore the icon label..

your work is a masterpiece i hope you can teach me how..thank you.

You are welcome ZyZi ! images are better than words > Fan Settings - Fan Angle

please check the "Fan angle" setting:

positive numbers = text labels on the left of the icons

negative numbers = text labels on the right of the icons

thanks for the download victor909 !

I) first of all you need to use a Dock application (ObjectDock, RocketDock, NexusDock)

II)  unzip the zipped file you downloaded and you'll find 5 folders

III) open the folder named "Instructions" and then the "ReadMe" text file

basically you can use the icons in the "static icons" and "animated icons" folders as usual just move them in your icons place ( ProgramFiles> ObjectDock> Bundled Images > Misc.Icons )

now tell me: do you already have the "standalonestack2" and the "animated shortcut docklet" in your system ? (the"animated shortcut docklet" in the ObjectDock > Docklets folder and the "standalonestack2" in the ObjectDock folder or as mine in the main system C:\ folder)

to be continued ...

I've used this docklet in rocketdock and was so pleased to find it here.  But...where do you download the .exe file to make all this work together.  Sorry to bother anyone.

It has been a long time since I've used objectdock (v2.1) and I wanted to clean up my desktop and so I started using it again.  I have followed all your instructions and I have an animated icon (spinning globe) on my dock, but it only has 1 "default?" item labeled "show in explorer".  HOW do I add more shortcuts to the stack?

I created a stack called Microsoft Office and I want to have all my office application shortcuts on that stack.  I'm sure I'm missing something really simple here...

Hi Malvegil_Raven the stacks are "folder sensitive" !

create a new folder wherever you want (I suggest in the same StandaloneStack2 folder)  call the folder MOffice or whatever you like now create all the MSOffice shortcuts you need and move them in the MOffice folder

double click on  StandaloneStack2.exe click on the dialog window "New Stack" then click on the right side of the "Path" (the button with the ... points ) and browse to the MSOffice folder

click on "Create Stack" then click on "Create shortcut" in the end save the shortcut to the stack wherever you want (I suggest in the same StandaloneStack2 folder)

now you can drag the shortcut and drop it on your opened dock !

... let me know !

HI Frankell, sorry to keep asking what others have asked but I have tried several times to configure your stacks passion and just can't figure it out, I have downloaded and extracted this file and moved the icon to the misc file into my  object dock file, and in your instructions file ,  do i need to download StandaloneStacks2 by Chistian Salmon? and move that to od main file?

thanks alot

jeff
