Love, love, love it!!! So glad to have my weather docklet back in service. I like how rolling over the docklet shows the current status (ex: partly cloudy, etc.) SO many times I would look at the symbol and have to check on the website to see what exactly it meant. LOL

I am also having the problem of a big question mark appearing as the icon for the docklet. Where do i get or how do i get the icons to function properly ?

@alma:
After installing OD, you have the standard weather docklet and in its folder are the icons. Put them in the other folder from this docklet and ....it works!

Judge, your awesome, i have been fishing for the xml update on the newsgroups but have struggled. Keep up the great work, and any updates placed on here would make it easier on all of us. Take care!

I can't get this to work, it still says -2 and displays a question mark.

Hmmm, for some reason this one updates properly over the other. Which of course is a good thing.

VresiBerba, have you followed what tombik said? Same thing happened to me and when I rebooted it worked. Try it.

Thank you Judge! Excellent work!

@The DJ
Hmm, silly me, I forgot to open firewall to let it out, but when I did, it just said "receiving... blah blah" and stopped. Later I restarted and suddenly it worked, for US zip codes that is. I went for 98001, which is somewhere in Seattle (will probably reside some day), but when typing in Gothenburg, Sweden in "search for location", the application just crashes. In fact, it does not matter what I type there, Object Dock crashes in any case.

metric / celsius version

hi folks,

activate cookies in your web-browser, then left-mouse-click in your docklet xml-weather-icon.

change in the website the option from english to metric units.

finally right-mouse on your docklet-xml-icon and update.

It does indeed display -2 and a question mark every time I start up OD. Right-clicking on the icon and clicking "Update" fixes it, but this is a little bit annoying... Any ideas?

Thanks for the great docklet Judge!

Mine does that too, but only on boot-up because OD starts before my firewall...therefore no internet yet. If I just close and restart OD, it doesn't do that.

beautiful and most importantly, working.

Although this docklet is beautiful and is working like a charm, I've stopped using it due to a massive GDI-object usage. With this docklet ON, OD uses up to 6000(!) GDI-objects. Without it, it uses 200-400.

Is this fixable? I've found this docklet really useful but it slows down my system too much...

A few questions/requests:
- If you check the feed from xoap.weather.com, it does not include the weather information. It just gives back a location identifier. Am I missing something? I've checked the weather site to see if there are addition URL options, but nothing I've found.
- Could you have an option for formatting the display, using %loc, %temp, etc. That would be very nice.

thanks for the hard work.
