Well, there is no such thing as launch an application on click, because current appointments will popup on click:)

On the meters thing:
Here http://home.hccnet.nl/averhoev.2/meters.zip you can get a preview version. Only thing that doesn't work is the network-meter, it stays fixed at 12%. I will be working on the network-meter this weekend.

Very cool, works perfectly! I realy like the option to adjust the speed of the animation. The others are really nice also. Just one more option please; the option to animate constantly.

that can be done in 2 steps:
(1) Uncheck the "Only animate on mouseover" in the configure dialog.
(2), right click and choose Toggle Animation from the popup-menu.
