Almost fixed! It works as long as you don't mouse over or click on any of the icons

didn't post the fisrt part of my intended post [QUOTE]Icons that change based on event (i.e. mail program that would change icon when new mail is received, ZoneAlarm net activity, etc.) still do not change to show that correct state

Almost fixed! It works as long as you don't mouse over or click on any of the icons.

I used to have the problem of icon multiple spawning and icon re-arranging in the previous version.
Sometimes, there were double icons of the same instance. Sometimes, if a tray icon, which is not at the end of the tray icon list, is closed, objectdock tray becomes confusing too.
I haven't found any problem with this newest version so far. It update the status very fast too. Great work!
Thanks Nimix.

Unfortunately, on my system, it still crashes ObjectDock roughly every 1.5 hours. Also loads multiple instances of the MBM icons every time it checks readings.

Won't work for me. I can get it to load onto objectdock, but no tray icons load. I am running ObjectDock 1.0 and Win 2000. I will try it with Win XP home and latest ver. of object dock

Unfortunately on my system it takes up to much CPU. When I use it my CPU Utilization jumps to 95 %

it's very useful, but it's also full of bugs... Every hour i got to restart it because it crashes... i think it may crash when the icons on the tray animate (MSN, ICQ, etc)... Anyways, good job!

I am in the same boat as triax. I am running ObjectDock 1.0 on Win2k. No icons load into the tray.

Earlier reported that everything was cool beans, but after some more playng around, i do have to restart the dock here and there due to error. It is better than the previous build though.

Fantastic application, seems to work pretty much ok apart from a couple of things. They are minor but ill share them for the sake of future updates. When Windows starts up i find that the OD loads before the regular system tray, therefore im getting a double instance of my Norton Antivirus in the OD Tray as it changes from initially disables to its enabled state. A similar thing is happening for the LAN connection. I have changed the standard icons for proper PNG files as i felt the old ones were too blocky and pixelly. Check out my screenshot at https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&SkinID=4890 to see them. Something i would love to see on a future update of this application would be that you could put in custom icons to replace the standard ones, but that they would be animated also. An example being the Power Status docklet. If it could animate in the OD Tray the same way as it does as a standaloe docklet, THAT would be cool! So heres hoping! Apart from that its the dogs...

sry 2 steal your thunder nimix but, after a week of use, the tray is showing none of the quicklaunch icons are appearing in your docklet. I've been able to resolve the issue a couple of times b4 but, what's important, however, is that when i go to hide my inactive quicklaunch icons (of which were all showing b4) i get a reading dealing w/ the trayserver screwing up. Nice program tho and i bet it took a lot of work.

overlook the mistyped jargon, namely "the tray is showing none of the quicklaunch icons are appearing in your docklet"

one thing: when i manually exit and re-run those quicklaunch apps they're then shown in the tray, for what it's worth.

a great idea, the only thing that object dock lacks. unfortunately, still buggy. seems like state-changing icons (zonealarm, aim, msn messenger, etc.) cause the entire dock to crash. i'm sure that since you were smart enough to create this program to begin with, you will work this out. too bad object dock in general uses up so much processing power. an idea i think would be neat to incorporate into you tray would be the ability to eithe give each item in the tray it's own space on the dock, or be able to increase the amount of spaces that the tray docklet inhabits. looking forward to updates of this. LOL
