Since everytime I use this docklet systray, it crashes the object dock after a few minutes and I want to hide the windows taskbar... Does anyone know a way (maybe an exclusive docklet) to securely eject usb drives from the object dock? If there is needed, I use WXP SP2 and object dock v 1.2... thanks!

awesomeness, I was lookng for something that would let me turn off the Windows Taskbar but still let me have the systray

This is a great idea. However, it did not work for me. I have Object Dock 1.30 plus installed on Windows XP and this docklet causes Object Dock to crash periodically. When I remove the docklet, everything runs perfectly. Nevertheless, I discovered a smart way to incorporate the system tray into Object Dock - a way that is visually appealing. I first created a new zoomer dock and set it to display system tray icons only (i.e. no taskbar items or any other docklets). Then I scaled down the icons to just about the size of normal taskbar icons, and I also scaled down the magnification. Finally I positioned the dock in the bottom right hand corner and set it to auto hide, and voila, a system tray without the Windows taskbar.

rchristiansen I have the same processor as you and with this Tray docklet in Object Dock I've got about 5% CPU usage... maybe there's something else going on?
To all those with crashes - the homepage for this docklet states that ObjectDock Plus may not work right - maybe that's the issue.
I'm on ObjectDock, the free version, 1.3, and it works - no crashes. However, it does have a habit of leaving menus open if you right-click an icon then don't click anything in the menu.
It would be really nice if dragging in 2 or 3 of these to your Dock distributed the Tray icons evenly amongst them, to vary the size of the Tray.

Great Program, but I'm having one problem: I applied the transparent background, and now I can't right click on the docklet to adjust any settings. Anywhere I hover over the space will only bring up the specific tray icon settings. Any suggestions?

this docklet is great, except it keeps crashing ObjectDock. I restart ObjectDock and the problem persists. This has been happening ever since I installed the docklet. Is this a known issue?

I had a question regarding this docklet.
In Vista the computer places certain "more important" system tray icons in their own never-hidden section of the tray, like battery power and sound. I can't get them to display in the docklet. Is there any way to get them not to be separated, so that your docklet can pick them up and display them? I've been looking for a way to do this, and haven't found one yet.

Just wanted to say for all those of you having trouble with the main power, volume, and network connection icons showing up...do this for it to work:
(Well, it worked for me.)
1) Right click on your windows start button
2) Select Properties
3) Select the "Notification Area" tab
4) Uncheck "Hide Inactive Icons"
5) Uncheck, Clock, Volume, Netowrk, and Power.
6) Click Apply, but do not close out that window.
7) Recheck Clock, Volume, Network, and Power, and once again click Apply. (DO NOT RECHECK "HIDE INACTIVE ICONS")
8) Restart your computer.
9) Stop complaining
Hope that works for you guys.

nothing but problems here...... very frustrating.....does not display any icons from the system tray, but sure doesn't mind using a third of my CPU.

I used this Docklet when I was still running XP, but now I'm in Vista Ultimate x64 and No icons show up...any suggestions from those who have used this in Vista? Are you starting it manually or at startup? Running with administrative priveleges? Thanks for any suggestions.

I suppose this is to enable the system tray icons for volume, clock, network, and power to be available in the docklet right? Well it didn't work for me.... Suggestions?

Nvrm it started working, I'm really happy to get rid of the taskbar from vista, this is much much better, these tray icons don't look too bad, love it. One thing tho, suddenly it stopped showing me the system tray icons... I redid the process but they wont show again. Did you manage to get them permanently on the docklet?

For those loading it up and having no icons show up - here is what worked for me. I added a new separator at the END of the ObjectDock. Then I added this docklet to the new empty space at the end of Objectdock. Then it all worked for me!!!

I've changed my videocard from ATI X1900XT to nVidia 8800GTX - before the change, Tray worked just fine, now it crashes like mad. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

Hm sad, don't work for me ... 
Shows absolutely nothing and when i left or right click on it, it will show me the Options and there is nothing that i can do too. Hope it will be fixed, i need it because the Standard-Docklet don't work with Vista x64 ...

Also it use a lot of cpu.
