I do not believe that Yahoo! Finance provides easy automatic access to commodities prices, since (as far as I know) these are not available in standard stock symbol form.

Hence, I do not believe StockDock can be used for this purpose. Sorry!

Updated to v1.10. Here is a brief summary of the changes:

* Minor improvements to data retrieval from Yahoo!.
* Fixed inability to have multiple StockDock Docklets setup simultaneously.
* Improved mutual fund handling and chart display.
* Added default icon for display prior to first-time configuration.
* Added slight random variation to quote retrieval delay period.

Updated to v1.20. Basically just fixed an issue with retrieving certain stock charts from Yahoo! (e.g. for non-US stocks).

Updated to v1.30.

This should address the issues folks may have been experiencing with StockDock no longer correctly retrieving charts from Yahoo, as the format of the chart files was changed (from GIF to PNG). Hence, the docklet has been adjusted to now be able to handle PNG charts instead.

Updated to v1.40. Issues with quotes no longer being retrieved from Yahoo! (due to a URL change) should be resolved.

Great Docklet Slordak! I've been looking for something like this for a while!

I'm just having one issue though, the docklet title is not displaying the stock numbers i only get "StockDock [Symbol]" (I'm trying to see MXX). Also when retrieving the info it says "Error - Unexpected or Bad Reply", what could be wrong? The chart is retrieved properly

Thank you so much!!

Pulk19, "MXX" doesn't seem to be a valid stock symbol even when one manually visits the Yahoo! Finance website. If one uses a carat in front of the symbol, in the form of "^MXX", then StockDock seems to work correctly.
