I'm a complete dunce as I just can't figure out how to get my tabbed dock to look like this. Could you please explain how to install this theme?

Werewolf, just unzip into the appropriate directory. For example, on my system I unzipped the files into C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\ShinyBlack. After that, goto the config form and the new theme.

Hmm well I did all that and I just keep getting "you have seleccted nothing to apply. Do you want to not load anything from this theme"

As long as the "Shiny Black" folder is unzipped and in the "backgrounds" folder it should work fine, I'm really new to objectdock skinning so I don't know what could be the problem. Maybe delete the file you have and re-download, start fresh

I uninstalled/reinstalled ODP. Did as Xymantix said, there is only one theme available in the 'Load Theme' and that is 'Default' I copied the ShinyBlack folder to the Themes folder. Now there are 2 themes: Default and Background. Chose Background and got the same error. Sorry, guess I'm brain dead or just completely missing something.

When I apply the Default theme, the pane at the bottom lists 3 Dock Theme Content Items to apply. When I try to load ShinyBlack there are no Dock Theme Contents.

Don't put it in the themes folder, put it in the "backgrounds" folder

That was the first place I put it. When I did only that, clicking on 'Load Theme' only gave me one option: Default.

Just go to your tabs section and it as a background, then apply to all tabs, see if that works

Eureka!!! Found it. Damn, I feel completely stupid. When I clicked on the 'Style' dropdown, ShinyBlack was hidden at the top of the list. I had to scroll up to find it. Thanks folks for walking a blind werewolf across the street
