I like how it is slightly darker.
One thing though is that the picture even at the 256x256 size is pixelated especially around the blue elipse. If this icon is used at a smaller size it is less noticeable, but still not as clean as I would like. Having said this, I would still consider using this icon because it does look nice on the dock if you have a darker icon set.
Your site is not working past the opening splash page and contains several popups that (in firefox) opened, resized, and moved almost offscreen several browser windows even with popup blocking enabled.
I still look forward to seeing more work from you and possibly a cleaner version of this icon as well.
