This is nice. I like the candy-cane border, but if I may make a suggestion the green background doesnt 'dock' propertly. Looking at the design, the light source comes from the top. Adding a dark blured stroke around it will give it more volume and also it will give the effect that the oval sphere is docked on the border rather than floting on top. Also the light reflection should follow the shape of the oval sphere, in other words it should be oval too.
