Don't mean to be mean or anything... but there are a lot better aquarium screensavers out there than this one... this one looks way to cartoon-ie, and doesn't have enough fish.

I will admit that Stardock's Aquarium Desktop is supreme, and trumps the crap out of mine; however, mine is free. Considering this is the second screensaver I have ever created, AND considering the fish are the first gifs I ever created in my life, I'm pretty proud of this creation. As for the "not enough fish" comment...I guess you've never owned a successful real aquarium. Overstocking a tank, especially a saltwater tank, where the dissolvable oxygen is limited by the density of the water, leads to death of the fish. Sure, I could have overstocked the tank in the screensaver and made it more flashy...but my desire was to make it as realistic as possible, given my limited skills. I appreciate your critique, though.

I seem to have a problem getting it to start. Did you use Nature Illusion? It looks nice.

They are better than some I have seen. Good Work. Try Easy GIF Animator. It is pretty cool program. It is working fine, now. Did you make the sound yourself?

PxiePrincess- Just because STARDOCK can make a better aquarium screensaver doesnt mean anything."I AM NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE" But That was Pointless to say, rude, and immature. Just because you say you arn't trying to be rude doesnt mean the comment wasnt rude. There are allot of windows blinds skins that are better than others and I still use the ones that arnt as good? What was your reasoning for saying that? Manie. LOL. K10w3 I am glad you didnt let that disscourage you because it would me. But I am a cry baby. I like it. Maybie some people like less realistic animations! Why does it have to look like a real aquarium. And also why would you need more fish. It is just a screen saver. YOu glance ocationally and stuff but no one sits thier and watches there screen saver. (I hope? lol) What is it going to get boring because there arnt enough fish? HUH? It is Perfect.

I have been submitting for a while(I dont know if it is longer than you) and I have found that people like to be rude! Pointing out the Bad----->AND<---good is okay by me but I believe that you shouldnt completely bash someones work. As someone else told me "ONe persons Opinion doesnt speak for the whole community!" Always Remember that! Seriously.

sweet screenie dude, love it. i don't think you all understand the constructiveness of criticism's though, weather meant to be or not they all have the underlining point of opinion and preference. obviously your not trying to please every one, that would be daft I like to hear the negatives about my work so i can see where i have gone wrong and can effectively improve. not saying any of that regarding this screenie though. i think its wicked cool for a freebie good job! p.s. marine aquariums aren't that much work. unlike cold water and tropical your only helping to maintain and sustain an ecosystem that is mostly self sufficient. depending on the set up and what kinds of creatures you have to keep it in balance. you should look into it as i also see it as a personal conservation effort that you can get so much pleasure back from. i can sit for hours watching mine getting along with their day. any how, before this becomes a real essay thanks again

i don't think you all understand the constructiveness of criticism's though,
I've accepted criticism on my work that I have done recently, and welcomed it, by people who are skinners. I just don't think the criticism of someone who has never skinned, never uploaded, never contributed other than to give their opinion, is worth much. It isn't constructive unless there is advice, and someone who has never skinned has no advice, no direction to point me in. This is my art. This is my interpretation of a salt water aquarium. How much weight would the criticism of a non-artist, just an average joe off the street, be to Leonardo da Vinci if they said "Leo...your painting of the Mona Lisa...it's too cartoonish. I've seen Mona on the street. Her hair is much more full, and her head doesn't stick out that far."
