The pictures on the bottom right are webcam pictures of the 51 Lime Street, London construction site. They are updated to my desktop every 10 minutes.

Everything in the screenshot is Konfabulator widgets, even the icons.
The webcam and weather map ones are "Web Images". http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36177
You can take any image or text you want off the net and stick it on your desktop with that widget.
