I agree with Fairyy. A nice Wall is important so you have to hide it less as possible with icons. If you want useful icons, change them to suit with the wall or the skin.Later, you 'll do better to use widgets to customize you shot...keep on !

Ok I TRIED TO MAKE THE ICONS IN THE SHAPE OF A SMILE BUT IT DIDN'T TURN OUT SO WELL. 
AND ON THE LOOK OF THE

amd a note on the widget thing i used to have rainlender and konfabulator but since i'm still tring to raise enough money to get my ibook i share the computer with my family and my dad HATES I MEAN ABSOLUTLY HATES ME downloading stuff he keeps on treatening to delete WINDOWBLIND and every thing that I have downloaded but the first things he deleted were konfabulator and rainlender. sorry i'll try though.

Wow...i didnt know you was only 12 yrs old....same age as my son. He loves to get on my computer and change my desktop around. He usually goes for dark themes with dragons since he loves Dragons so much. He's learning how to do things with the programs so i know you will too if your dad lets you. Tell him this is how you "express yourself". I have a program called Michaelanglo that is kewl and will allow you to change your icons if you ever want it. I have that same wall and its a good choice. Good luck on making your SS's

And a little is what i need help publishing my flash movie. i have already made it and a game to go with it. aslo the moderator denided my first wall paper maybe because it include a trade mark from a company? it is kind of funny it has the pillsberry doh boy and he is saying "poke me and DIE!!!" i think it is funny because that explains the reason for every commercail that has him has a new person!! lol

Wrong goal my little friend. Screen shots are not about downloads. Its a way to share what you've done and bring ideas to others. I'm afraid the days of a 1000 downloads on a screen shot are long over. Most people dont even hit the download button..you can just click on picture to view the shot and that never is recorded.
I spend 3 to 5 days making a screen shot...or longer. Concentrate on one shot. Do it over several ways ..then decide. If you just toss up one shot after the other..most will just start skipping over your shots. Better 1 good one a week then 10 tossed together shots. As far as your parents..you still need to abide by their wishes. Im sure hes just afraid all this unfamilar software might mess up his computer. Maybe just stick to blinds for now till he gets used to the idea.

xbs13 i agree with Fairy....its not about downloads when it comes to Screenshots....its about the creativity and ideas that went into that particular SS...some people might spend hours even days working on 1 screenshot. I personally dont want to just see a wallpaper and a taskbar on a SS but more creativness but that also requires having the right programs to do so. If your dad doesn't want you messing up his computer with all these programs and your not sure how to work them....then it would be a wise idea to listen to him and use what you have and know.

Thats what my son always says He is learning quite a bit tho.....he might out do me one day when it comes to computers. All i can say is the more you play around with your SS the better they get because i think i have improved over time.

You can right click on each icon and brin up properties and change icon from there. Or hide them ....Hide icons usually..they are there but noone can see them.
This is getting better. I know your only 12 years old so your just learning..you'll get there.
