jordygreen..... there are no skins currently available that allow transparency in the toolbar region like vista....one artist claims he has done it using styler toolbar in his shots but other artists say that it is impossible even with styler....as for the sidebar it is the actual vista sidebar which was ported to xp, so i cant tell you where to get the files because it is considered warzes...google never hurt though...as for the parts im using and info on getting it working on xp,these sites are helpful Link

wyldstallyns...i cant find any links for the media player if you gimme an email ill be glad to send it...it is a gadget made with desktopx so you just click and go its not a media player skinned....

jody the desktop icons i did doing desktopx....the shell icons is a registry edit....

follow tha link steps 1-5 but after five log off windows and log back in they stay that big even when you restart but if you change your icon size the regular way they will go back to original.....hopefully that answer your question
