yeah what MRuvmain said you can dl a beta version of vista all though I do not recommend it.

If your purpose was to show various windows of Vista..all you had to do was put up 1 window..take a screen shot..put that up as a wall...put up another window..take a screen shot...put that up as a wall...and you could have condensed these 10 screen shots in 2 .
Why you felt the need to take up 2 whole pages in the screeen shot section ( Note ..it says show off your desktop configeration ) Is beyond me. It took me 3 hours to sign onto this site this am. Then I had to wade through 2 pages of a vista advertisement, only to have my cursor spin continuously after the second page. Spamming the screen shot section is rude..no matter what your intention was...

bla bla bla i know 50 people who breath and live screenshots and thats all they do. this is what screenshot section is for. its for showing different desktop configurations or showing off a problem or a bug that needs be resolved and to me im very excited about this set of Vista screenshots than anything else. the guy showed some different looks of real Vista so i could decide weather to waste money on W.V. or not when it comes out.

No ..thats not what its meant for...
And I still believe he could have put several of these views on one shot. It might have taken a little effort..but it could of been done. Not all of us think the SS section is just for a bunch of " pictures ".

his screenshots did not crash anyone's system right?.. and as far as not being able to "log in" to Wincustomize for a while thats all good. wincustomize.com isn't the only place to go to on the internet? and if someone got offended about that whole section thing being filled up, oh well, go to deviantart.com and upload thousands of your own without even "moderation" process. seriously, this is not such a big deal, it's just screenshots. and to me they are helpfull and to others as well. as you could see people ARE downloading them.
so let's close down this issue. like i said - this fella doesn't upload much here anyway.

We can agree to disagree. Your right about this section being for more than just SS's of desktops. But on a site thats hard to manuever at times past page 2...he could have condensed all of this into 2 or 3. Like you said..no harm done..

there's a million vista websites.. what have you done in these fifty screenshots to customize your vista install?
i don't mean to flame, but i just don't see the relevance to this site in your screenshots
